How To Keyboard/Mouse Lock?
To securely lock your laptop or mouse using the Smartkeeper system, start by selecting a group of four USB ports in either a horizontal or vertical direction and connecting two USB cables side by side. Insert these cables through the frame to cover the connectors. Then, insert the Frame Lock into the rubber ring, align it properly on the USB port, and press the lock button on the Frame Lock to finish the installation.
For removal, begin by rotating the lock key basic 180 degrees and inserting it into the top of the Frame Lock with the key button facing the SMARTKEEPER logo. Press the key button backward to engage the lock for removal and pull out the key. Next, push the bottom of the key forward to release it from the Frame Lock. Finally, remove the Frame Lock, Rubber Ring, and Frame by hand. Remember to match keys and locks by color, ensure the key is fully engaged before unlocking, and be cautious not to pinch your hand when sliding the cover.
