How to use RJ45 Port Lock
For installing the RJ45 Port Lock, ensure it’s in the Unlocked Position before proceeding. Hold the lock by its sides to prevent it from accidentally locking during insertion. Then, press the front part of the lock into the port to secure it, following the provided illustration.
To remove the lock, insert the key into the key slot with the key’s button facing upward. Press the key’s button backward to engage the lock for removal, then pull out the key. Press the key’s button forward to release the lock from the key.
Remember, keys and locks should match by color. If the lock is closed, use the Lock Key to open it by inserting the key, sliding the button back, and pulling the key to open. Ensure the key is fully engaged before removing the lock, and be cautious to avoid pinching your hand when sliding the cover.
